Sup bro, long time no see. As for the sedan conversion, I'm 99% sure if you do the sedan fender conversion, and as long as you do a sedan front bumper, than any other sedan body kit should fit. I'm running an STi front bumper, splitters, and a V-limited lip with sedan fenders and they line up perfectly. I've also read that you can actually use your wagon bumper, but it doesn't fit perfectly. ^^^^ Keep in mind that all of that info is for my '04-'05 wagons. But I'm pretty sure the '06-'07's are the same too.

As for the rear aprons, they'll fit. I've got replicas on my wagon, and they line up pretty well.....not perfect, but good enough. If you search on Nasioc, I know I read a thread there than an '06 wagon had the same rear aprons.

Good luck

So rear aprons from sedans or previous year wagon fits 06? I'm trying to research the same thing. Sorry Kisono55 not trying to thread jack but where are you picking up parts to do your sedan front conversion and how much?

IIRC all the rear aprons are made for sedan bumpers, but they do fit wagons. When I put on my rear aprons, only 1 hole didn't line up, so had to drill another small hole in the bumper. But as far as alignment of the aprons, they worked well, and then you just double stick tape it on. I bought mine used off of Nasioc and had them painted WRB.

Finding used fenders and a bumper may be difficult here in Hawaii. I checked for about a month or 2 at all the local recyclers, and couldn't find one WRX for donor fenders. I was lucky enough to get a front bumper from a friend, but the fenders I bought brand new from Rick @ Servco Subaru.

Good luck

hey thanks brandon for replying. still gotta try and take off those roof racks lols.

socal9:

most likely goina pick up the sti rear apron for wagons from gruppe-s

http://gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subext.htm

when i have enough money goina call chargespeed and see how much for the bumper. the bumper is a sedan bumper, but in the pics they have, they're using some sort of flared fender so yah. just making sure regular sedan fenders would sit flush. pretty sure it would.

as for the sedan fenders, was goina go through rick at servco. giving me a good deal, but comes unpainted. once i have everything, goina get it painted from my friends dads shop. so just gotta pay for paint.

Only thing is that with the ChargeSpeed front bumpers, they either require the use of a JDM bumper beam or the removal/modification of the USDM reinforcement bar.(<<<at least on the '04-'05 models). We had an '04 STi in the shop and couldn't install his ChargeSpeed bumper since we had to do those things.....liability issues. But, when you remove the reinforcement, it mounts up nicely, and the fit is nice. I was a little disappointed with the quality though. Although the bumper was brand new, it required quite a bit of bodywork and re-priming. Not cool for such an expensive piece.

It's do-able as per above...may have to do minor to major bodywork to get it to fit.

I don't know why I didn't see that STI rear apron for wagon before. Maybe I scrolled past it thinking it wouldn't fit 06. I think I may go with that as long as it mates up with 06 wagon. Thanks for the link, good looking out.

Is it from the same year sedan? If they are the same or close why does the two peice rear apron say excludes wagon? I just want some thing to dress up the back because the exhaust looks a little odd by it self. I also want to change out the exhaust, I have a megan racing TBE looks great, sounds great but want something a little quieter but definately not just stock.

I'm so jealous.....I want that center rear diffuser so badly. Too bad the bugeye and peanut eye rear aprons are shaped differently.

it excludes the wagon cause the rear aprons dont line up perfectly. my sides sit flush but the inside where you bolt um on is kinda off. & my center diffuser is kind of lop sided if you look closely. hopefully by tyheend of the year i can get an APR rear diffuser & smehow get that thing to fit on. if you want i can show you how mines looks sometime. maybe we should have a wagon specific meet.

Brandon, we could make this happen.. I got help sourcing a Polyurethane company that will make the molds and product for our rear bumpers but I havent factored in the cost yet.. As I get those figures, hopefully I can start out a group buy to lower cost.
