This is rather difficult because the picture was not taken in different exposures so a proper HDR wouldn't work too well.
If it was shot in a raw format, it would probably be better also.
What I learned over time is that you can't HDR every picture and it comes out nice, unfortunately it is true with that picture you provided.
I did a bloom on the edges of your car and they didn't come out too well. But it was just a 2 min stab at it.

how about making three copies of the pics, and modifying the levels with two of them in photoshop. that should give you three exposures. probably wont be true hdr, but its something to work with...

It could be done, but the result's probably the same.
While blooms are just filters and HDR is pure lighting, normally pictures that pass through bloom filters and come out very good.
Doing HDR photos from jpg usually come out disappointing. The reasons are numerous but the loss of quality from compression is the main problem. Even at that, the likelyhood of the picture not having enough dynamic range makes it easy to tell off the bat if it is doable.
I did the full process just so you guys understand how difficult it is to do it when your source isn't that good. Cars underneath a tree shade is normally very bad for images too.
