Hey Guys...Been a while..Sorry about that...Hope everyone doing OK...
Me...Well I have been SUPER busy....I just got back from Vacation...
Went to Germany....more specific...RALLY Duetschland...Yes...WRC at its finest...
Met Petter and Phil...All I can say is that it was awesome...
We got to Treir on Thurs...when I drove into the city...(about 2pm)...I noticed a Subaru Dealer on the way to the hotel...I wanted to see the feasability of getting some part#'s...anyways...as I got settled..I went over to the Subaru Dealer to try and get some EDM fogs for my STi..I got to dealership and was helped...As I walked in..there were some Subaru guys hanging around outside...Turns out they were from the Local Subaru Club...
These Guys Rocked...they invited me to hang out with them for the whole weekend...They invited me thurs nite first to the dealership funtion..then to the Opening Ceremony in Treir...where we met up with a bunch other Subaru nuts.....After the opening ceremony...we all got up early to go the 1st stage...we had about a 15 car convoy thru the day...to go to various stages...we ended up going to stage 1, 3, 4 and 5 ... so not a bad day to watch...After the days events...we went back to The Trier Dealership for a party....good food...Good Friends...a some GREAT cars...no less than about 50 assorted WRX's, STi's, and other Subaru's were in attendance...some from England, France, Italy, of course Germany...I felt connected...but yet alienated because my dang car was in my garage in the states...
..but like I said...these guys Rock and made me and my wife feel right at home...even letting me ride along to various stages in Guy555's STi...Saturday was pretty much the same..only we didn't have a party afterwords...We Met up with Andrew and Susie (Nasioc screenname:Anderson Collectables) at the party on Friday..then on Saturday we all rode to stages...My car was a TDI Golf, so I was trying to keep up with all the STi's and WRX's in the group....but we managed...We ended up at the PRODRIVE Tent in the Service area for the afternoon...What a blast that was...talking to the crew...playing on the Simulator, watching the stages live on the Satelite and having Petter's wife set at the table next to us...We also had some of the other clubs represented there...Southern Scooby's of the UK, SIDC, the Luxembourg crew, the France crew, I Club...and of course some from the Subaru Impreza GT club....it was simply awesome...the treatment was first class...and the people was simply awesome...special thanks go

We were really tired...so we ended up going back to Treir to watch the closing cerermonies...Truly a great experience...and would reccomend it to anyone who can do it...It is sooooooo crazy..similar to a Nascar race here at home...but much more intense....Enjoy the pictures...there is quite a few large files...One of the directories has been posted already...the other come off my wifes camera..(cannon Rebel Digi, shoot with a variety of lenses..)

old skool guys are outnumbered BIG time now...lots of new guys here...
francis got a wrx motor into his RS (like how you did)...
cliff is still a sellout, but still has the STI...
russell doesnt come out to scca anymore, but i think he still lurks here every now and then...
vern drives a MR2, and does pretty good with it...
jason tokunanga defected to miatas (he got 2 of them now)...
ryan still has his STI, but is more into 240s and drifting...
kalani is MIA- didnt see him for a while
timmy- whatever happened to him???
anyway, good to hear from you...

This is Ralph. I met you trough mild 7. Its good to hear from you again. Your trip to germany sounds fun and hope that I'll be able to go to and event like that being that my mother just got marry to a fellow from stutgart. Hello. You left the island sometime before I bought my car in MAR '02...and now I'm no longer there. Weren't you running n20 on your RS ~13.5 @ 101 or so?
Anyhow, color me green...with envy. I did get a few trinkets from the Rally Deutschland because I girl I know went and then sent them to me. Hopefully I'll be in your shoes one of these days. Too cool.
