Aloha from Frankfurt

I'm trying to take a picture of any nice cars I find. Not too many so far.

I did rent a 2004 5 series TDI BMW. Got it to 240kph (although I don't know if I was on the Autobahn or not) I video'd it, so I'll post for your enjoyment when I get home (if it's any good.)

Oh man! This car sounds pretty mean, in a non-modified sort-of way. Goddamn, these keyboards suck. They swapped the y and z around, and all of the punctuation is different.

Anyhow, thanks Dan and gracias everyone.

I'm gonna go drive some more.

i have no clue where frankfurt is in germany, BUT if there's a way for you to get to drive on the Nurburgring, DO IT!!! i think you can use your rental car, or you can fork the bucks to ride the N'ring taxi, a bmw m5...

I'm home...sort've. I don't really have a home, but my good buddy Mach5 picked me up and is giving me a place to crash for a night.

I've got some mundane but nonetheless terribly frustrating 'traveller' stories. I left at 2300 on Saturday night, 14 Aug. Flew in a C17, but oh by the way, it was filled with cargo so, yep, had to ride on the web-mesh seats along the outer skin FOR 8 HOURS! And it was cold. When I say 8 hours, that means flight. I was actually sitting on that hard-*** aluminum and thin mesh for 12 hours because we stopped in Uzbekistan for fuel, but the fueler broke, so we had to sit and wait for 4 hours on the Uzb/Iranian border (I think).

Flash forward to Frankfurt. All that I'm saying is don't charter a non-English speaking bus driver (woman)!

The lay over in Frankfurt was awesome (but I already told y'all most of all that. No stripper clubs this time (like from the Canada trip

Now I'm on Oahu. Tomorrow I get to see my little boy, my wife, and hopefully my car, too.

Aloha
