Aloha!

w'sup HIIC! i'm here in maui on vacay til next week! been here since last thursday and i'm lovin' every minute. i'm from SF and here's my bugeye wagon.

I keep seeing a silver bugeye w/ sti wing dark rims and dark headlights i think they're jdm/edm projectors on hwy 30. Seen a white sti w/ goldies parked on the side of the road on lower honoapiilani hwy like 2 nights ago and a lowered silver legacy gt the next morning on i think black powder coated/painted 17" lgt stockers u were fishing.

anyone have any suggestions on what i should see/do? i'm here w/ my GF and we are 26 and 27 but act like we are 16 and 18 ahha!

thx for reading my post!

-BJ

Some things to do on Maui (in no particular order):

- Spend the day in Ka'anapali: GREAT swimming beach, plus some high end shopping at Whalers' Village.
- Go to Lahaina like all the other tourists. Seriously, do it at least once so you know what it's all about haha!
- Go to Haleakala -- that's a MUST!
- Kula Gardens.
- Eat at Da Kitchen.
- Cheap-o ice cream at Tasaka Guri Guri.
- Saimin and manju at Sam Sato's.
- Crispy maju from Home Maid Bakery.
- Check out Pa'ia town.
- High end shopping at the Grand Wailea.
- Go to a lu'au.
- Ia'o Valley
- Shopping at Queen Ka'ahumanu SC.
- You can go to Hana if you want, but I didn't think it was worth the drive. The drive itself would be nice if that narrow, narrow road weren't clogged with dumb tourists. See if you can make it to O'heo Gulch.
- Swimming in Kihei.
- Cruise up and down Kahului, Wailuku, and Waiehu.

Nice looking wagon ! I'm also here on maui . Just got back on the scene after a 2 year absence . I got the other silver sti driving around kahului . Sansei's up in kapalua run specials on half of sushi certain days of the week (thurs and fridays ) . Kimo's on front street of lahaina isn't to expensive but great food on the waterfront .

thanx for the input guys! we've done the majority of the things listed... i'm staying at the hyatt in Ka'anapali. and my parents and siblings just arrived and are staying at their timeshare in kihei.

things have gotten ALOT more expensive than when i last came like 3/4 years ago.

i think i seen a cgm sti w/ carbon fiber hood today too.

Haleakala and the drive to Hana is only worth it if you have your Suby there. I had a blast driving my STI with my fellow SUby and Evo owners up and back down Haleakala back in Oct 2008.

Not economically feasible now that the Super Ferry is long dead.
I was wishing I had my Suby the whole time we were on the road in the rental Corolla.
