Anyone watching?
I don't know anything unless it's NASCAR or the Indy 500, but this is very fun. There are too many supercars, though. I think I'd choose the JGTC.

No, but I just finished watching the FIA WRC Rally Finland and it was AWESOME! I was on the edge of my seat (near my Kleenex box) the whole 2 hours. WOW!

I think sprint super-modifieds are more exciting than NASCAR.
What's interesting is that they've got my favorite driver, Tony Stewart, doing commentary. He owns one of the teams.
They're in Knoxville right now, but when Tony races in Kansas, the same weekend as the NASCAR race, he'll also do many heats driving his sprint car.
I'd imagine that you all would argue vehemently with me about this, but I believe that the reason why Tony, Gordon, and Ryan Newman are so good at NASCAR is because of their midget/go cart background. They have to master dirt, mud, and pavement. And, similar to rally, most times the dirt will change to hardtack midway through the race.
I don't know about the outcome (although I have heard many comments from the peanut gallery), but I am sure that Jeff Gordon has driven a rally car and a formula (maybe Indy) car. I really wonder where some of these NASCAR guys would rank in rally or formula 1. Probably not very good, but who knows?

Yes Dave.
They had the American Mini-GT-like series a few days ago with BMW 3 series, ITR, RSX's, Audi A4's, Protoge's, Mazda6's and the such but boy do I want a WRX w/ RWD in this thing. That would be badass!

I even love watching the drag racing on tv. This being on leave business is awesome. So many times I'll sit down to watch whatever is on speed (and even though I'm a NASCAR fan, I resent all that BS they have on the channel), but what normally happens is that I can't sit still for too long.
BTW, the drag racing is on ESPN2.
