got my wisdom teeth out today...it hurts like a birtch...

 

Had my lowers out a couple years ago, not fun. Enough gas tho and its all good. Didnt feel anything, just sorta dont like knowing people are pulling crap outta my mouth while Im sitting there awake.

 

oh yah, i didnt feel anything during the operation coz they knocked me out...it hurts like hell after for some reason tho O_o

I had mine out 2 weeks ago.

 

when i got mine it, it hurt like hell to laugh -- so all my buddies took turns poking fun. two days afterwards i still looked like a goddamn chipmunk, but as soon as the vicodan and general anesthesia were out of my system i was pulling on a motorcycle helmet and hitting the road. the evolutionary process that gave us wisdom teeth!

 

Is this when the rear lower teeths hurt?

 

not necessarily...they pull em out whenever they feel like it coz they generally dont fit. most ppl got em on the top rear too. i luckily only had 3, but my friend is even luckier he has none

im dam hungry right now tho, jamba juice for dinner

 

I had all 4 yanked, and you dont know pain until they use the hammer and chisel.

 

It has something to do with the way they're rooted down through muscles in your jaw area. You're feeling deep muscle pain. IT hurts like hell.

I was so hungry after mine were pulled that I could not wait the 12hrs or so before I ate. I had noodle soup as soon as I got home from the drs office. Man, the chewing pain was incredible.

 

I was given some sort of k/o juice that had me awake but far, far away, so I remember him cracking all 4 wisdom teeth into quarters and then yanking each quarter out. As soon as he pulled the IV off of me, I was snapped back into reality but a little loopy.

The doc gave me some Tyl3 w/ codeine, so I went back to the barracks and had a few beers and lit up a cigarette or 3. Even went cruising later that night. Of course I was 19, then.

The next 6 or 7 days, though, were a bloody, dry socketed nightmare that I whined and moaned through. The beers were less often.

 

just make sure if your gonna eat something hot, ie- just out of the microwave, make damn sure it's cool enough.

my mouth was still numb, but I was sooooooo hungry, I didnt realize my spagehtti o's were steaming hot.

I had to deal with the pain from the hammer and chisel, and a burnt tounge after the pain killers wore off

 

ouch, im glad i was out cold when they did the op. holy crap though i been starving since! right now trying to eat vienna sausage w/ my tongue =P for those of u who dont knwo, i got an underbite too so when i bite down at all my top rear molars hit where my bottom wisdoms were ouch!
