boost leak

at least I think it is..

anybody experienced with some free time tonight wanna help me tackle finding the source and a solution to it?

Brad and I will be in Kaimuki painting a rear lip tonight around 7..

grrrr!

 

basically you only hear it in boost around the 4-5K rpm range..

sounds like when an external wastegate opens up (i do not however have an external wastegate) i did however just install an uppipe exactly 2 weeks ago. could just be I need to tighten the bolts.

and yes, it does sound fluttering. i'm hoping it's either the uppipe to exhaust manifold or uppipe to turbo that needs tightening..
