I hope this means you guys are coming?
The park is a bit shabby looking but it is definitely safe.
I organize monthly potlucks here with the Mazda6 club and have never had a problem.

We picked this park because of its location and ample parking, the cruise does not end until 4pm and starts to get dark around 6pm so that really only gives us two hours to hang out. Because of this short time I wanted a place that everyone could get to quickly from the end of the cruise and where there are plenty of places to drop by a pick up food so that people did not have food sitting in their car all day.
I looked into Ala Moana & Kapiolani but felt that parking would be too much of a problem.

PLEASE let me know ASAP If the location is preventing people from attending the BBQ, I have no problem with changing it and am open to suggestions!
