advise on levelten torque converter
it's a stage 3 tq. converter from levelten. i can get it for the corolla for a steal of a deal used with maybe 30k miles. it sells for 750 plus core charge of 1000 which is refundable with return of core. how difficult is it to install?? maybe looking at infek or guys that have done this already, also the company is well respected in the toyota and tq converter industry thanks
I heard mixed review on levelten... I usually hear pretty good things for protorque... Those two are probably the name mentioned when you talk about torque converters.

the torque converter that you buy from levelten comes from protorque or that's my understanding. I own and have in my car a levelten valve body.
install depending on the transmission can be hard and not recommended for someone doing it for the first time as you can accidently drop something (screw, pin...etc.) and you'll be ****ed. I took my car to pearl harbor transmission (Paul, the guy that owns the track owns that shop) and they did it for my car in 5 hours. the valve body depending on it's mounting position will determine how difficult it is to install in your car. if it's mounted right under the oil pan then it's cake all you need to do it replace the trans oil again. if you're going to go to pearl harbor trans then you should have both done at the same time to save you the hassel.
