Advan TC-II Questions

1. Anyone happen to know how much these things weight in size 17x7.5 and 17x8.5?? W/o the rubber. the Advan website doesnt say. Im guessing they are around 15-16lbs or so due to the hollow construction.
2. You guys think that these wheels would be decent for street use? Considering the hollow construction...
3. Any suggestions for other wheels for my Pearl White LegGT?? Im sure i havent seen everything out there.

depends on what size you want but over all i think they should be ok. they are really pricey so i wouldn't reccomend spending that much on wheels. i can only reccomend what i've had and thats only gramlights. pretty light, 17lbs (17X7.5), strong (i've hit some huge potholes and no damage yet), not too expencive, overall just good rims for the $$$. depends what you are looking for though i guess. if you wanna know the weight contact the guys at gruppe-s and they will tell you the weight. i got those on my 04'wrx....

forgot how much they weigh exactely but i know they are really light.
street use has been great....i got em in gold 17 x 8.5 so they have way more grip then stock.

they are really expensive actually. and i prolly wouldnt recommend them to anybody on a budget.

i was going to weigh them myself but by the time they got here. the shop i went to had already mounted them on to the rims.

Those rims are really light, but I've heard (on other boards) of them cracking under harsh road conditions... potholes, bumps, crap on they put on Ala moana blvd. Great for tracking but I wouldn't be so enthusiastic about having my rims crack while driving.

yah, thats why i got them mounted with some meaty rubber (45 series) so i dont hit the rim. also the ride comfort is pretty solid, not that harsh.
