An account of the final round of last night's Pro Import Race
...As for me, I came there with too little race gas. Thats why my first couple of passes I was only trapping at 113-115. I borrowed some 114 from the Grand national and it helped but its really not the gas I should be running. I kept the boost low and ran an 11.6 or so. Trapped at about 124. The last race I turned up the boost a bit. I had him out of the hole no problem(He has never beat me off the tree) I shifted into 4th and when the turbo hit the tires just would not hold. It went left first and I corrected, then it went right hard and I knew if I didnt get off throttle I would lose it. I let it go...wasnt worth crashing over. I crossed the centerlane and DQ'ed.....I had him beat though.....I want to thank Ben and Reagan for stopping by after the race and giving me a pat on the back...I appreciated that. ALso thanks to Rex for pouring VHT. I came out of the hole pretty damn hard.....

I think Cedric's car has more horsepower than Brandon's. I also think, that Brandon won last night's event.
Drag racin' ain't always about the most horsepower, there's a dose of driving and a whole lot of luck as well.

Truth be told I don't have the best eyes in the world - but I didn't see Cedric's car cross the center line. Brandon also reports that Cedric didn't cross into his lane...

Thanks man. Tell your boy Wes that I was really impressed with his car. The first time we raced he cut a 1.66 on street tires. Thats truly incredible.
