sell it and go OPEN SOURCE!!!!!! you will thank yourself in the long run and you will save alot of money and get just as much performance!! just dont blow yourself up!! hehehe
I think its a decent tool now that it has more features.
The AP V2 can now do datalogging WITHOUT a laptop. You plug it in, go out and do some logs, and you can upload them to your desktop PC to view .
The APV2 now offers free tuning software. This is a great feature.
The AP can now be protuned with Speed Density.
Yes, OS can offer a great alternative for those who do not want all the extra bells/whistles, and OS protunes are usually just as good as an AP tune.
However, the ability to switch maps to real time, and to log an hour's worth of pulls is worth the small price of an AP.

nice, on my 06 STI, i did the same thing! Got the AP V2, got a titek catted DP and used the Cobb Exhaust. After a Protune, got 267/297 HP/TQ on a Mustang Dyno.
compared to the parts ONLY and without any tune (stock ECU), it was putting down 239/243 for HP/TQ.
Huge difference, nite and day, absolutely loved it! I recommend it...
