What kinds of problems do you encounter with this dealership? Just went there this past sunday, I got to test drive the STi and didn't seem to be like he was trying to force the car on me. I gotta say, sweet car!

I've had a bad buying experience, and I think chucky can attest to their shady service.

 

Thanks gdogg, I read them reviews but when I was callin around, forgot that 5 Star was the one with the low rating. Really nice salesman there, his name is Paul very helpful. He said he was on sabatical for a while and just started working there again. I'll post this on the review page.

They stole my rivets and replaced it w/ zipties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn them to eternity in hell.

 

Damn that sucks!!!!! Well I don't think I will be getting my car serviced there anyways, kinda hard when you live on Maui. Good luck so far with the salesman thought.

My fingers are crossed. Paul said that the car will be in bout 2 weeks. On Maui, I think that there are asking like $37k to $38.

 

Five star/ nimitz...sucks a$$$....bad service/ attitude...not good for business...waipahu/awesome service...

thats fricking crazy!!!!!! plus paul is really a nice guy. got my car from him. but like what others have said, they are not the best place to service your car..

 

i bought my subie from them and had no probs...havent had to deal with the service department yet...do the other subaru dealers mark up there cars? just asking cause 5star does not...so you get a STi for what the sticker says none of that hawaii mark-up bull ****

 

When I went to 5Star, Chester helped me out and he was the typical pushy car salesman. Asking me, "How much can you afford a month." "This deal is only good if you buy it now." That kinda b.s., needless to say I took a walk.

 

i've met some good guys over at 5star- it's just the location- there are in an area of high volume.. and i think some of the guys that they hire are from the old school. management wise i think they are still caught up in the "if they don't buy now...they buy from someone else" mentailty. sure customers shop... but subaru customers are not your average customers-

when i was in the suby game a lot of my customers were "be-backs".
i think managing suby customers has been a challenge for 5star because of the owners history in the car business.... the subaru line was somewhat of a "buffer" for them to sell used cars- at least in the beginning.
