02-03: Bugeye
04-05: Peanut/Blob Eye
06-07: Hawk Eye
08-14: Stink Eye

2015: Eagle Eye.

this has so many threads already on plenty of forums. Nothing was even ever set in stone for the 11-14 even though eagle eye was pretty high across the boards. 2015 will probably be the same way and never get named. Who know. Maybe the sleepy eye since the car really look refined but still has the same power

I've heard eagle eye for previous gen and shark eye for 2015.

 

I really don’t think people will differentiate the front ends or “eyes” with the GR+’s(08+). That was kind of a GD thing. Those terms just kinda fell off.

No idea where the civic comes into play. Was this car born in the ghetto and we can only guess on the daddy?

 

The body reminds me of the Civic. If the Subie came in a coupe it would def. look Civic more. Lol, the '15 is a bastard child. Much love for it though, I've seen some pretty sick ones recently.

 

I own one and I'll be the first to say I wasn't amazed when I saw the first pictures, but once I saw one at a dealership it looked like a completely different car!

 

I wouldn't say a civic at all. I mean the car doesn't look very aggressive and in my opinion the least good looking out off all the years but i think subaru was going for a more modest look to appeal to more buyers. The interior is about the only thing thats worth looking at.
