2009 Wrx Wow!!!!
C&D 2009 WRX
0-60: 4.7 seconds (0.4 s faster than 08 STI)
1/4 mi: 13.5 seconds (0.1 s faster than 08 STI)
The only bad thing about the updates to the 2009 WRX is that it makes anyone who bought a 2008 model look incredibly foolish.
They have to compare it to a STI at the same time/place though.
So, Shaggy, when do they arrive?

This can only mean that the STi will be better. If I recall correctly, the 09 WRX matches the performance of the first generation USDM STi (2004). They say that the first ones were the rawest and quickest drag-wise, they were tested at 0 - 60 @ 4.6 seconds or less in some other magazines. In the most recent turbo car test in Road & Track, the WRX came in second to the cobalt SS in overall testing, but fastest at the autocross track. Third was the Mazdaspeed 3 and last was the Lancer Ralliart. Props to Subaru for listening and correcting some of the flaws with the 08 Rex, now they need to fix the handling and steering on the current STi.
Supposedly 2010 is supposed to bring the legacy sti. We shall see what 2010 becomes.....after all, subaru changes their lineup every 2 years, well cosmetically anyway.
