Haha what an idiot I am. I was all excited this morning, optimistic that Speedgear would have a set, only to find out that they're closed on Sunday (the other shop) DOH!

I'll try giving them a call tomorrow morning again, but I hope I have enough $. Sheesh, I don't even know if i'd have enough left for a spring compressor(@#$^ $40 at Sears). Might have to ask my friend.

How do you like them? I was thinking about getting them also for my STi. I am simply not a coil-over person. Call me old school (or just plain cheap) but I like springs and shocks. From what I hear, the Stock STi shock has enough stroke for a lower spring. Correct me if I'm wrong, please!

AH damn. I called Speedgear's 2nd store this morning and the guy there told me that they do not have any springs in stock for the 04's.

I'm thinking that no one actually has the springs yet. Some of the online stores told me that Tein requested that the dealers list them in advance, so in actuality the stores being "Out Of Stock" really means "Coming Soon" One of the stores told me the ETA is by the end of first quarter, 2004.

Ugh... this sucks.

I had the Tein S-Tech on my 01RS I liked them the only thing I had to roll the rear fender but you couldn't tell except that the rubber trim on the back fenders was gone. They tucked 17's in the wheelwell just enough. But with two people in the back it would rub. I put them and Whiteline sway bars and Whiteline end links at the same time made the car fun to drive only because it wasn't very fast...But would still like to have another one and put a STI motor in it along with the 6spd...UUUMMMM I wonder...
