No problem,
as far as cast vs forged, forged is stronger. There are other techniques, but those are the two most widely used.

forged = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and 
when you curb it.
with cast rims you can afford to replace it if you curb it
unless you like to spend $$$$$$$$$$$ on a new rim everytime you smack it
