After a lot of thought I don't think it's the AP as much as my ECU.
My STi is of the very first batch of STi's and I think they run a little odd.
It's just not working for what I want it to do and I think it will work fine on other ECU's
I need something I can work the small bugs out with...like a UTEC.

pat, glad to meet you in person as well. i am the guy w/ the wrb wagon, driving around with a full tank of gas...dohhh!!! -chris btw, gpatmac's wagon looks even better in person evryone. although the wagin lover in me is a little biased

considering you want the power now while still in hawaii why not look for a spare sti ecu and have a ecutek tuner work it mapped with a bigger turbo and stuff!

To add to that, I checked my fluids later in the afternoon and saw the evidence of some pretty heavy blow-by.I need to get my act together and get it tuned.
