09/07/09 (Monday) HIIC BBQ
For those of you that came out to the meet last night there was plans of an upcoming BBQ.
We are having a BBQ on Monday 09/07/09 at the park across the Kapolei Police Station (MARKED WITH A) and it's also across the street from the Kapolei Library (MARKED with the other star) as well. I have attached a map but it's a dated picture but does have the streets on them. We will be attempting to park at the Kamaaha Avenue parking lot (NOT PICTURED).
This is planned for early lunch late breakfast so 11:00am till whenever. Bring your family and friends as well. If bringing others outside of HIIC please make sure their not acting like idiots and WILL BE cleaning up after themselves.
This will be a potluck style BBQ and as always you don't bring anything you don't eat. Don't show up with 5 people and have 1 small bag of chips or a small portion only able to feed yourselves.
What we will definitely need...
Utensils, Plates, Napkins (enough for everyone)
Regular Drinks (i.e. Juice, Soda, Water) -- goes without saying we'll need a large cooler filled with ice as well
Small Electric Grill (if I can't get mine working) -- electric is preferred since I'm not sure we're allowed to BBQ at the park and will NOT produce additional waste.
If possible... we will also NEED a tent of some sort
I realize this is short notice but with the long weekend should make for a good time.

hoping for a good turn out. don't be shame if you haven't met anyone... this is just a new way to interact with people during the day time.

BOOM if you want to bring waters juice and all of that i can bring something else like macaroni and potato salad, we are gonna need some type of meat platters though
