07/17'2011 HIIC Summer "I need me some shrimps" Event
The Annual Summer Shrimp Shack cruise is upon us so without further delay, it is here....
To all members old & New, just a reminder that if you plan to race,show off, blow off, and provide exhibition of speed. Please Don't attend as i-club.com regional chapters disapprove Street racing and immaturity!! Even to those i-club members who sold their subie and is rolling in a non-subie car, invitation to attend is extended too you peeps.I see you guys still troll! LOL

WHAT: 4th Annual HIIC Spring Time/Lets go get some Shrimp and Shave Ice Event
WHERE: Around the Island
Start point: Kaka'ako Park
WHEN: July 17, 2011 @ 8:45am meet up and Rollout @ 09:45am
WHY: Why not and because I said so.......
Things to think of prior to cruise:
-have cash (shrimp shacks only take cash)
-fill up your tank before coming out
-clean your car
-bring a camera
-bring water
-posted speed limits will be abided by with maximum of 5mph over to catch up.
-please maintain a safe following distance with the car in front of you. We had a very unfortunate mishap the other year that I would not like to see happen again.
Disclaimer (Jess & me being real ):
This is a kick back cruise, childish actions will be frowned upon and I will with the help of others belittle you every way possible. If you feel you need to show bout please do but do not continue on with us. Again I expect everyone to act like adults, THIS IS NOT A KIDDIE CRUISE. This is more of a family event.
Route:
Start point: Kakaako park
1st stop: China Man's Hat
2nd stop: Kahuku's (Lunch break at Shrimp shacks)
3rd stop: Haleiwa (shave ice stop)
Finish point: Oahu Central Park (go home or stick around and B.S. stop)
WHEN: 20 April 2008 @ 9:00am meet up and Rollout @ 10:00am

ROUTE
9:00am Meet at Kakaako Park
-10:00am Exit Kakaako Park head towards Ala Moana Blvd.
-left on Ala Moana Blvd
-right on Kalihi St.
-continue on Kalihi St. will turn into LikeLike Hwy (Hwy 63)
-after the tunnel stay in your right lane
-exit Kahekili Hwy on right (Hwy 83)
-continue straight on Kahekili Hwy
-Kahekili Hwy will turn into Kam Hwy
-turn right into China Man’s Hat (Kualoa Regional Park)
China Man’s Hat (Rest stop 30-40 min)
-Exit China Man’s Hat turn right onto Kam Hwy.
-continue down Kam Hwy till the town of Kahuku
-turn right at the Shrimp Shacks
Kahuku Shrimp Shacks (Lunch Break 60-90 Min)
-Exit Kahuku Shrimp Shacks turn right onto Kam Hwy.
-continue down Kam Hwy till the town of Haleiwa
-turn right on Amara Rd. for parking (behind Rosie’s Cantina)
Haleiwa (Shave Ice stop 45-60 min)
-exit Shave Ice stop turn right onto Kam Hwy
-continue to traffic circle and turn right onto Kaukonahua Rd.
-when the road ends at a T make a left and continue on to Kaukona Rd (aka Snake Rd.)
-continue on Kaukona Rd. it will turn into Wilikina Dr.
-continue on Wilikina Dr. it will turn into H2
-continue on H2 and exit on Ka Uka Blvd
-at the stop light turn right onto Ka uka Blvd.
-continue down Ka Uka Blvd. until you enter Central Oahu Regional Park
Central Oahu Regional Park (final stop)
-we will park at the tennis courts or wherever we can find ample parking
The only hard times are the roll out at Kakaako Park and the rough estimates at each stop. I encourage everyone to try and stay within the alloted times at each stop. Like anything in life we cannot plan for the unexpected and we will adjust fire accordingly.
I see this as being a fun and relaxing day please bring your children (if applicable) if not you can borrow mine . Some of you mentioned bringing your RC cars please do.
If you see any mistakes in my route please let me know.
