[B][/B]Angel headlights

anybody know if the halos headlights are good to go on recon inspection? The said the are make by OEM and they pass all the OE standards.

unless they are stamped DOT/SAE they probably won't pass.

They should pass. I had halos on my Tacoma when I took it in for a recon and I passed but I don't know if that is because they are allowed or because they missed it.

Well u guess they only way to know is go with them on. Thanks for the info, I can put them on cuz my car don't have any logos on so I don't have Subaru :P

Good luck. Anyways I said in your other thread you can borrow my lights for recon. You can try just any old reflector sold at oreilly. As long as something is there it might be fine.

are you planning to put them inside the housing just to pass recon?

best bet is go to walmart and double-stick tape on reflectors in the appropriate area, that'll get your recon - your headlights need to say DOT/SAE on them to pass (even if you've messed with them inside, however if your mods don't look apparent you might get away with angel eyes since they're common OE these days)
