TT, AMS, Big Valley and myself then all drove to ATCO to try and settle the match race there

Sadly, ATCO was closed to time trails due to a points series and it took some last minute "negotiations" between ATCO owner Joe Sway and Victor from Big Valley to secure the chance for us to make 2 runs each

It was very gracious for ATCO to accomidate the team all the way from Puerto Rico and salvage their vacation

All I can say its that it was super exciting to run about with 50 other lucnatics frantacally scrambling to make it to ATCO get the cars off the trailer teched and then blast off into new record terirtories for ALL 3 of the cars running

It reminds me of the old WRX shootout in the first year at ATCO and the fun times we all had when I was racing my 2002 WRX

This time Big Valley is so far out in the lead that no Evo with similar mods and weight can catch them which is very impressive

It was a amazing day which I will never foget and which makes all the struggle, sweat and wasted time and money sunk into this "hobby" all worth while

One of the things I miss most about my Subaru days were the meets and get togethers with fellow Subaru onwers and the comradery shared

We used to have a lot of fun back in the day when the WRX first came out and the Subarus I saw gathered tonight at ATCO reminded me of those days

I think one of the reasons for this is that Mitsu as a company sucks and no one really respects them aside from the one halo car the evo. Every Subaru is a great car in the whole prodcut range. And also Subaru sinks a ton of money into motorsports.

This "grinsos wanabis" is a one man operation with my own car wrenched, driven and opearted BY MYSELF. Sewat, blood and guts is what goes into the long and hard hours to get my car ready for and attend these events.

I am no "wanabis" I assure you my friend
