But would you buy one for $29k?

http://www.evolutionm.net/models/evo/dealer_list.php?

Dealers that are selling the Evo VIII for MSRP.

so basically, ... I need to take out loans, buy the EVO from the mainland dealers at MSRP, ship them here, sell them for a few grand over MSRP which is Much less than dumb a$$ hawaii dealerships, and make some money!!!

Say, isn't Reg's car in the mid $40k's? I'd take an S4 over a Lancer Evo ANY DAY!

The M3 is oh so sweet...

But I think if I could have a daily driver (wagon or hatchback for work) I'd have to have a Z06 in the garage for $50k worth of fun on the weekends!

I seem to recall the Z06's not hanging with the Subys on the short course. They stomped us into the ground on the long course, but they don't handle or brake as well as our cars (Modified subys of course). They lost tons of ground in the turns and played catch up in the straights. 200 more HP and a Z06 wouldn't be able to hang at all....

And that would cost WAY less than 50k

I will say this about the EVO VIII it looks way better than the new STi and it looks better in real life than in the pictures.

This is true...but for the money, the STi is a better deal...plus, you could stay brand loyal...
