Well, unfortunately my future atleast near-future as an STi owner are no longer. My best friend back in Boise just found out his Fiance has a severe case of something called "adhesions", she had to go to the hospital last week and almost didnt make it. The doctor opened her up and all her insides were being strangled by these things. I guess its scar tissue that bonds to all the organs and keeps growing. Well to make a long story short that only surgery that can help her permanently is in Germy and of course we all know "surgery = lotta money" and "surgery in Germany = plently more lotta money". He works his *** off, but with 4 kids between them couldnt afford the $25000 it cost so I loaned it to him indefinitely. So, I unfortunately am cancelling my order for the STi and will just have to wait and hopefully pick one up next year if the interest is still there. Ugh...

I want to thank all you guys for all the information and advice I have gleamed from yall and I never would have discovered the world of Subaru had it not been for this forum. I am still dreaming of the STi, but will be picking up an used Jeep or something for the time being.

So, I will be the reject without a Subaru tagging along to some of the races and events if yall dont mind.

Thanks again and hopefully I can make it out one of these nights. Wife being pregnant isnt always easy to get away or get her out and all.

Eitherway, just cause you dont own or wont own a Suby for a long while doesn't mean you shouldn't come on here anymore or meet up with us. We really are an okay bunch of guys, no matter what the other websites say

You don't want that jeep 3 speed Auto, trust me. Get a 5 Speed manual or get something with a better auto trany.
