What happens when I connect these?
This fell out one random day and a friend was thinking about connecting them while driving...totally not cool man.
BUT...
I was curious one day and connected them and a bunch of fans in the engine bay went crazy and the air recirc light would flash...nearly had a heart attack.
My buddy BugEyeRex02 told me this was some sort of diagnostic thing...I might be remembering wrong.
How does this work?

Yes they are for dealer diagnostic use and are supposed to remain unplugged. When connected together the ECU goes into a diagnostic mode where various relays and solenoids will continuously cycle and the check engine light will flash. Also a number of codes will be set.
The green plugs should be left alone unless you are uploading maps to your ECU, in which case they may need to be connected.
