VF48 Turbo?

i found a vf48 turbo on craigslist in chicago for $600. It was off an 2008 sti with 1000 miles on it. i have an 2008 wrx, i was wondering if it would be a direct bolt on or would i need a bigger intercooler as well?

direct bolt on. may need a bigger intercooler like an sti so you dont leave some power on the table. also will need tuning too

u need an accessport and the dealer will not touch it you will need to find a tuner plus supporting mods for best performance

for sure get a bigger intercooler and accessport with proffesional tuning im not sure what size injectors 08 wrx's come with but it wouldnt hurt to get some bigger injectors 465cc-545cc and a good fuel pump wouldnt hurt either

"This turbo requires a front-mount intercooler to fit 2008 WRX or 2005+ Legacy GT (black plastic intake manifold)."

Oh just so you know Subie101 the intercoolers from the 08 Sti's dont fit the 08 WRX's. So if you looking to put one on eventually youll need to get custom with it. (bend the clips) So good luck with everything!

That's a decent price for a turbo that will have you walking on the 09 WRXs It may take a while to get all the supporting mods together but totally worth it.
