Well our sti has been in the workshop at Subi Evolution here in Brisbane Australia since the middle of November to have a blown head gasket replaced...That didn't take long to fix but it has spent the last 10 WEEEEEEKS waiting while they try to find some under bucket shims to fit the valves to make up the space left after a couple of head shaves etc... These little tine button size shims are hard to get in the right size.. There is 16 of them and despite being less than 1/2 the size of a 5 cent piece they are around $40 EACH from Subaru in Japan ...We have a few spare cars here and SE know we don't need the sti in a hurry, he is getting tired of pushing it in and out of the workshop every day....Does anyone know where I can get some of these shims ??????????????
I know you guys didn't get the Ver 6 Stis but there is no harm asking.. Maybe someone there has had some made for their import or what ever.. Thanks Guys ..Cheers.

Thanks mate.. I can find out exactly the diameter and thickness. I have had a PM from a member in the Victorian Club here in Oz about a machine shop down there that makes them so I am sussing that out. If it is a dead end I will let you know the sizes we are after. I think the workshop also has the Gen subaru part numbers for them....
