UEL Headers, 2.5i, question, Fun friday?

Final have enough time and due to it finally being warm out it is parts season for me! Thinking about getting the rallisport uel headers and yes i know everyone has pro and cons with every part in the world. I am just trying to get feedback on what people have thought of them? Do i go with the standard 2.5 uel headers or bump up an extra $100 to get the oem grade high flow cat. Going to be working this in with a tsudo 08-10 wrx cat back exhaust. Just seeing what the world has to say!?

I once orderd a pair of UEL headers from rallisport for my 07 2.5i... But they took so long that I got a wrx in the process and ended up getting a refund.. Then used the money to purchase an Access port v3, anyway, I waited 5 months n still no tracking number... Idk I've heard they sound good but they are certainly not reliably as of right now.. And also u should get a Greddy catback exhaust, they sound perfect on wrxs (brings out a nice deep smooth rumble)

From what I understand, there is a 6 month wait time. His website says 2 months, but I've heard of people waiting up to 6. With a couple waiting longer.

The reason for the OE grade cat is to satisfy the O2 sensor. But even then you might still get a CEL.

I've been eyeing his stuff. I want a 4-1 EL and cat delete. I just haven't been able to pull the trigger on the $1500 price tag.

But I know of a few people that have his UEL headers and they like them.

It's going to sound different on his 2.5i and there's no rumble to bring out.

Who wants to wait 6 months when they are proposed only 3, sounds pretty dumb to me. (And I'm sure to the rest of society) Also, he was just talking about getting UEL headers, so adding a greddy exhaust like I said would transmute the perfect rumble. (Like my NA subi had)

I didn't say it didn't suck. It's just what it is.

"Sound perfect with UEL" would have made more sense than "sound perfect on wrxs". Even with a UEL, a 2.5i doesn't sound the same as a WRX. It's close. But not the same.
