Perrin Vs Cobb
Personally I think new Cobb AP for an 08 is horrible. They been really slacking on the new 08's. I blame the Skyline! haha
Anyway check this out.. these are the gains for 08 wrx AP;
Stage 2 91 Octane Stage 2 using 91 Octane fuel. Requires turboback exhaust. +11% HP / +10% lb. ft.
now check the previous year..(06-07) same 2.5L;
Stage 2 91 oct Stage 2 using 91 octane fuel. Requires turboback exhaust. 280HP (+22%)/ 335lb-ft (+43%)
WOW! Double the amount of HP gain and 4x as much torque gain.
Perrin is using Cobb and putting out way more power with their maps, I think cobb just gave up and let them have it, considering theyre still selling the AP's.
Now check out Perrins Stage 1 ; ... STAGE 1!!

Need I say more? 300ft-lbs!
Now what are your guys opinion with previous experiences with Perrin? Im considering getting the AP from them. I'd like to do little more research and get some of your guy's feedback. Thanks!

well.. what do u expect from a brand new car??
the maps are basic maps and arent meant to be used as a permanent use.. cobb wants u to go get tuned. so then u can feel the difference.
