Megan Racing OE-RS Catback: 08+ STI

What are everyone's thoughts on this catback exhaust? It seems priced very competitively compared to other available CBE's. (btw: these are all the quad tip outlet catback exhausts I'm researching for the 2011 wrx hatch)

For reference: (increasing)
Megan Racing = ~$5xx.xx
Invidia Q300 Catback = ~$9xx.xx
Harman Motive Catback = $9xx.xx
Fujitsubo Legalis R SS = $1xxx.xx
Greddy Spectrum Elite Catback = $1xxx.xx

Is it good performance/quality -wise? (relative term)

Thanks

I'd go with the Magnaflow for the same price as the Megan.

I also got one for sale for $475 or best. Tried on once but too loud for my taste. Missing one $10 exhaust clamp.

Unless theres an issue with fitment, you'll be just as happy with a Megan Racing vs. A better known expensive brand. I had a baller SPT CBE and switched to a lesser baller Tsudo CBE and I was just as happy with tsudo. I'd go for the Megan unless you're strapped and want a better name. Youtube it and find the better sounding one.

If I can get the Megan Racing, cheaper... then maybe. Magnaflow does have a lifetime warranty (but does it transfer to the a secondary owner?) Both are stainless steel constructed. hmmm... The Megan Racing looks so good though, for it's price point.

I saw your car @ the Tooslow meet in Union City, but it was a little clique-y so I didn't get a chance to mingle with all the groups haha. Sweet exhaust though!

I don't think I ever saw you, just your car (recognized from avatar, etc.) No worries, I will intro. when I get the chance next time. Btw, I finally mated the q300 w/ the invidia dwg catted dp. It's pretty aggressive sounding, but definitely does not drone while cruising. I may have enjoyed less vibration/rattling with the stock setup though haha

These are looking awesome but will they have the color permanent or it will worn out due to heat.

I don't know about that, I went with a different set up. Full turbo back Invidia.
