Its Christmas in September!!!

My springs and wheels showed up yesterday!
I dropped everything and installed the springs and threw the wheels on.

I got O.Z. Ultralagerras in black with Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum 245/40/18 tires and H&R sport springs

Btw boo on tirerack. Every wheel was at least 1 ounce off and one tire wasn't even seated correctly on the rim.

I got to spend my morning at wheel works getting em fixed.

Neway..... So far I only took a couple pics with my phone

Very sweet!
(Except for the Tirerack deal. I'm sorry you had to go through with that)

Thanks.

Ugh I was pissed off until today when I got a reply to my angry email. All I really wasted then was a couple hours waiting at wheel works.

The new tires are amazingly quiet, so great.
Handling is so-so. I tried throwing it around a 90 degree turn at 40 and it started to slip, didn't go completely but I could hear all 4 tires, lol.

You should get some Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's or some Bridgestone Potenza RE-01's. Throw the car around after a set of those and see what happens =)

umm,
Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum = Grand Touring All Season, UTQG 600 A A, $161 each.
cheapest PS2 = Max Performance Summer, UTQG 220 AA A, $260 each.
Potenza RE-11 (replacement for 01's) = Extreme Performance Summer, UTQG 180 A A, $252 each.

there might be a reason why he chose the Kumho's (time of year/season, treadwear rating, price).

Hahaha, I know I know. I was just kidding. Still, it would be fun to have a set of either of those tires on an STi at an autocross or something.

yeah dood, got the tires because they are grand touring. I'm tired of loud tires.
Best set I had tho was Bridgestone Potenza SO-2's. Those could handle anything.
