SPT and I will be picking up an spankin new 2008 STI in socal Feb 28th to test for a couple days courtesy of SOA. We will be driving the car for two days including a full day at streets of willow. Additionally, we will have a Robi-Spec modified STI out at the track as well for comparisons. The full review with details, photos, and video should be out in a couple weeks. Anyone that wants to come out and attend the track day is welcome to.

 

Sept 29th? It's not even March yet... I suspect this car will have been tested and retested by then.

Anyways, we are testing it then. We will be testing it alongside 3 Evo Xs as well

I doubt it will be much fun. I mean we are just testing 5 great cars at a fun track.......how much fun can that be? I guess someone has to do it though, so we will take one for the team.

Well, it was a great test. We enjoyed our STI for the two days we had it. Big thanks to SOA for letting us set up this test and taking care of us so well. Could not have been easier with their fleet management service being right across the street from Long Beach Airport. We picture of the metallic dark grey loaded STI complete with navi and silver BBS wheels. I have to say, especially in person, its a good looking car and we all preferred the looks to the Evos. We will have more coming with a complete review on the STI as well as our track comparison article. Here is a teaser shot from the track.
