thats bull get that **** changed before you dont have a car to drive! dealers suck.

Imprezard Feb 16, 2011 03:37 PM

Yeah my clutch is pretty stiff too, but don't sulk about it dude, I am going to get an ACT heavy duty clutch and lightweight flywheel! I haven't even hit 10k yet...

the only reason subaru wouldn't cover it is because it can be declared as a wear and tear item and argue it depends on how you drive your car and etc.

izzyidk? Feb 16, 2011 03:39 PM

yea i want to mod the ****t out of my motor but i think it would be best to wait until warranty is up

SJwrx08 Feb 16, 2011 03:39 PM

Yeah i looked at my warranty info went back and told them my clutch is covered as a wear item and they didnt deny it. jerks. my 2 year old niece could run a service department better than most dealerships out there.

Imprezard Feb 16, 2011 03:43 PM

I always deal with Putnam Subaru and I have no complaints with them whatsoever. Maybe give them a shot? They are the best dealership I have gone to.

izzyidk? Feb 16, 2011 03:45 PM

you went with your dp and front mount and everything?

Imprezard Feb 16, 2011 03:59 PM

Yup! EVERYTHING. To explain what always happens, they all stop what they are doing and peer over to see what pulled in haha. One of the guys who always helps me out tells me if I need any warranty work done, just remove what I have done that may be related to the cause and bring it in for warranty work. I needed a replacement battery since mine was completely shot and wouldn't hold a charge, I had HIDs on, which is a no no for warranty work and they said next time take them off before I come in. A great group of guys there is all I can say. haha
