cobb accessport!!!
i have a 2011 sti hatchback and just got my cobb ap. i'm trying to load a map but instead it erased my cars entire ecu, set off a few lights, and refuses to load squat. now i can't drive my car cause it's bogging out and feels like crap. it tell me to cycle the key after the car is on and when i turn the car off it won't let me turn it back on. now i can't start my car without the ap plugged in as well! what the eff man?! keeps telling me some error and telling me to check the plug connection which is FINE! aaahhhhhhh!!!!

ouch. You should still be able to load maps onto your Accessport from your Cobb's website from your computer via USB. At that point, you should then be able to reflash using the AP. (though, you might still want to have the stock ecu map, but maybe the dealership can help with that. After all, it is a brand new car. Maybe all they'll do is slap you on the wrist for it. Goodluck!

Did you plug in the green connectors (test connectors) under the passenger side dash? That is probably the plug connection it is referring to. Then you should load the maps, and your car doesnt need to be turned on, it needs to sit in the on position (right before you turn the key to turn on the car). Also turn off your radio, a/c and etc. when reflashing.

I know the first version of the AP was a power hog and many people had problems with it draining the battery and then not loading the map, not sure if the ver2 is like that (but your battery should be fine since its new).
Make sure all connections are good to go, and keep in mind that turning the car "to on" is not the same as cranking the engine.
