Angry 880 Rant

Is it only me but is 880 cursed with rocks that seem to find their way on to my windshield??

I cant tell you how many times I see a little rock coming from a distance in front of me, like a movie in slow motion just loving my windshield. I got at least 9 little salt grain holes in there (surface holes).

And every little hole in the windshield or a chip in the hood is all from 880!!!!!

Luckily there aren't as many chips on the hood, but im starting to notice 2 or 3

What are you guys doing to prevent this??

SCREW YOU 880!!!

Get a clear bra for your hood, nothing you can do about your windshield. I used to rock 880 every day, its torture

it seems like only subaru drivers rock the mudflaps... I would hit up Krinkov and see what he can do for you clear bra wise...

I believe he is in SF, I found out that Vince at Omega Tintwerks does clear bras too and that's in Pleasanton.

A rock chipped my windshield a while back. $750 for a new Subaru windshield, WOW! Not installed.

Spread your cheeks plz!

Ended up with a Safelite one installed for $400 out the door.

Still crazy expensive, my tacoma windshield was $75 installed from safelite.

Yeah I find 880 has tons of rocks. We had to replace a winsheild last year 3 days before bam. When it hit it sent the crack pretty fast. We also went with aftermarket cus subaru glass so expensive. One thing you will learn with subaru paint.. its pure ****. Once you get a few chips you tend to start ignoring them. Your only best bet it is to hit up Krinkov for a clear bra as soon as you buy the car.

There seems to be lots of dump truck drivers who don't cover their loads. Guess where their "cargo" goes...
