2009 Resonator...
You know, this is an important check, because if it's truly a straight flo-thru, you would just need to change the muffler to get an extra dose of performance.
A Hushpower might be a nice replacement, it's almost free flowing and controls resonation.

The resonator has a baffle in it, not straight. Bunch of metal plates like a rat maze. Then again, I have a sedan and the resonator might look different.
Replacing the midpipe is critical.

The sedan and hatchback exhausts are probably the same. I doubt they would spend extra R&D money just to differentiate the two.
Of course, I could be wrong.

On my 2.5i, the muffler actually doesn't do very much muffling. The resonator does nearly all of it. I've taken off both just to check the sounds, and the difference is spectacular.
