How about

Try www.subaruforester.com

You might find a few Foresters, including dadscruizer who has a really sweet tricked out XT.

My girlfriend has an XT, and she loves it. I liked it so much, it convinced me to buy my WRX. The XT is a great car, and I would have purchased it if she didn't have one already. The moonroof alone is reason to buy one. The damn thing is like the retractable roof on the Skydome.

Heh heh, yeah. I've seen that monster piece of glass. I wouldn't mind having one, but i prefer the lighter weight of an XT unequipped with one.

Hey Nino, we should hit the tracks sometime soon, I'll give you a call when I go. I'm curious to see what this baby can do.

Yeah, but are you planning on lifting this thing with your bare hands or something? The weight difference doesn't seem to keep me from keeping up in the pack of drivers...

I'm not sure that it makes THAT much difference unless you are specifically in it for the performance. Then I suggest you take it to Easystreet Motorsports, and check out what they've done to the turbo Baja, and the Forester that they did for SOA. Monster WHP to overcome a silly 45lb. difference in weight...

Heh heh, good point. I've been trying to get the most out of my mini sport ute, which means that I didn't order the moonroof premium version, got the stick, and took off the roof racks...guess it's just me. Btw, Have you seen the forester xt in the One Lap of America? that's one mean machine.

Talking Safety?

oh BTW it's a platinum silver 4EAT non premium but it came with some cool goodies

Jerry
Welcome to the club, Jerry. Have you checked out the site I posted above in this thread?

Subed Up is a platinum silver 4EAT premium, but a Forester is a Forester. We love them all, including the SF models. We're not snobs...

BTW, if you felt safe in the WRX, you'll be happy to note that the Forester is "...the safest small SUV EVER tested..." by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. I have been in a rollover collision with my first Forester (Kanga), and she died saving my life. I walked away with only a scraped knee, and all of her glass was intact, even though she landed on her roof. Safe? I don't know of ANYPLACE that I feel safer than in the Forester. With the performance tools to avoid the collision in the first place, and the strength to deal with unavoidable collisions IF they do occur, you've made a wise choice.

Besides, the cops don't look at this low profile "mommy-mobile" until you're out smoking Audi TT's or speeding above 9x mph... lol...

I only put about 80 or 90 miles on it so far but the ride is very nice and smooth compared to the WRX. can't wait till i get the miles on it so i can see what it can do. so far from the little bit i have got on it it seems to have zero turbo lag
