Back from CobbTuning good/bad news
I just returned from a quick day trip to Salt Lake to visit C0bb Tuning to have their cat-back installed and the gear shift updated. The bad news is that the factory Subaru hitch is about 3/8" too little clearance on the back side for the current cat-back from Cobb. The good news is that Cobb will be modifying the exhaust in the near future to accomodate diff protectors and the factory hitch -- another road trip in the future.
More good news, the shift kit, although a little expensive, did wonders for the XT's factory shifter's rubbery feel. The improvement felt every bit as good as the STi and is height adjustable.
The guys at Cobb, Trey, Josh, and Noah were all very helpful and it was well worth the trip.

They say that they are going to do a turboback exhaust and a Stage 1 and Stage 2 AccessECU, but no dates for those yet.
