aggressive forester xt

Is anyone on this forum running 18x9/9.5 on thier foz? Plans are to lower it on coils, then find some wheels that sit nice and flush with the fender when it's dropped. Ideally I'd like to run 18x9 but there arnt too many wheels I like in that size. Has anyone here gone with 9.5's?

Thanks , but I've already tried looking on forester.org. maybe I'm just a noob, but I can't navigate that site at all... :(
I know for a fact that 18x9 will work since lots of people have that setup. I'm really struggling to find a dd fxt on such wide wheels.

Old post, but DayRunner is running 18x10's if I'm mistaken, and he says he had to do a lot of fender work to make those fit.

My car had ESM-002R GM's for a little while. 18x9.5 with a 40et. I ran a 235/40-18 on there, and the stretch was good, minimal with the Yokohama s.Drive I was running, looked good. Fitment was good, but I definitely had to roll fenders. Oh, I'm on coiliovers, too.

Why the switch to my current 18x8 45et RPF-1's? I upgraded my brakes to Brembos, and those RS Reps I had didn't clear the brakes. In fact, I would have needed like a 20mm spacer.

Late to reply, but run over to SubaruForester.org. There's an entire thread on aggressive wheel Foresters.

So go with what I did.

GR2 Struts
can't rember the springs but they are 1.25" drop, so not too bad.
Whiteline links (Love the clacking or hate it)
Cobb front and rear sway bars
Cobb rear sway bar adjustable mounts
whiteline transmission bolts
whiteline adjustable front arm bolts
Group N top hats

its tight, corners well, but doesn't ride like a tank.
