That wrx sound

i love the way the wrx's sound with aftermarket exhausts. Currently im looking for an aftermarket exhaust, is there anything out for a 2.5 RS that will make my car sound wrxish. (ie. rumble like a small V8).

get a set of borla headers and then just about any exhaust will help. then for a rumble sound louder thatn wrxs you can get a track pipe or a high flow cat

The borlas will get you a real great start toward what you are looking for...

Buy a set and you will never regret the sound...

I have gotten comments freequently along the line of "Why does your car sound like a mustang" and other junk like that

Borla's, 2.5" piping

Hey this is James from Nashville I have the white 2k2 Impreza from out at SCCA last weekend in Nashville. I asked about looking at your radiator mounts. Thanks for that by the way.... I love that V8 sound .....mine is the Borla Header, and the WRX Apex N1 with custom 2.5" piping and the resonator removed from line. I've been asked if I had a V8 in there 6 cyl at least......people say it's too "Mean" sounding to be a 4 cyl.

borla headers + stromung dual tip catback = real good sound.

gives it a nice low rumble.

Go with borla headers and a stromung cat back with dual tip. It has a stock look so the cops don't pull you over and it has one of the nicest tones. real low. it kind of purrs
