Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Question What kind of cat-back to use???

I've just installed a Borla header and R/T cat-pipe. Now I definitely need to do something with the rest of it because it now seems that the stock parts can't keep up with the flow on the new parts. What kind of cat-backs do you guys recommend and who has the best prices. I'm leaning torward a Greddy EVO, but I'm not sure yet. Also speaking of that will the Greddy Evo catbacks made for the earlier cars fit the new ones like my 04 RS. I read they will if you tweek the brackets a little, but I wanted to make sure.

Get a custom catback done for like $200. I'd go with Magnaflow myself, sounds great and flows almost straight through

Kostamojen, I like the way you think, thanks for the advice. BAN SUVS mentioned that too in one of the other threads. I've been toying with that idea. What kind of Magna flow muffler though ( I'm thinking your talking about a chambered muffler) and if I pull out the resonators and put in a 2.25 mid-pipe will it drone at highway speed? I just want it to flow and sound good.

Thumbs up

I have the same set up as piker on a MY01 RS. Sounds like stock just a little bit more rumble and slight growl. With my ganzflow it can really scream at WOT. Custom Midpipe+WRX muffler installed was $220.
