I have inhereted a 1987 subaru DL, It ran fine for a week loved the gas mileage then decided to change plugs cap rotor and oil, after this it decided to have intermitent problems not wanting to start, dieing if I got on it through an intersection, then after 5-10 minutes it would restart, sometimes it would restart immediately, not very often. then for a day no problems then all of a sudden bam back to a problems
after a month of this and changing out fuel filter rechecking everthing still no love, now it will not start completely. I have spark at the plugs I have fuel shooting through the lines I dont think I have an air problem, but it just cranks over and wont fire.
I would check the timing but I dont know how to on these Pony engines

please any help with these engine would be great !!! fuel is killing me in my 3/4 ton truck
