SwayBars on 05 wagon ?

Hi, I searched a lot on i-club but without finding my answers...
Does anybody knows what are the size of the factory rear swaybars on a 2.5RS Sport Wagon 2005 ??

Because I am considering putting on a 20mm or 21mm RSB instaed
And still using OE endlink.

And by the way...
Can somebody confirm the 173Hp on the new 2.5RS 2006 ?

Thanks !

I'm pretty sure the RSB is a 17mm stock. It was on my 05 WRX at least...I just put the OEM 20mm (off a sedan) on there and it helps the cornering a lot.

Check out this post...is it true or no? Because I, also, was under the impression that the sedans were stiffer..

Lightbulb RSB wagon 2.5RS 05 = 13mm

Ok guys I finally got my answer
I went to my dealership yesterday
and we looked up on the suspension owner manual.
And it is 13mm RSB for 2.5RS Wagon 2005
And 18 mm for RSB WRX wagon 2005
Note that these are canadian models but I think the setup is the same for US models

Tough to confirm that but the base line forester will have a 173hp engine in 2006. That's listed on subaru's web site in the forester section.

Since they use the same 2.5 engine across the entire line of cars there is a very good chance the base impreza sedan and Wagon will have it.

BTW I've heard (not sure where) the RS name is going away. The new base impreza will have similar naming to the legacy (ie. 2.5i). But, I can't imagine they would EVER change the "WRX" or "STI".

You are right about the RS name going away
The new Subaru will be 2.5i
