Would a STi hood scoop fit on a 2.5RS?????????

 

What year is your 2.5RS? If it is an older 98-01 RS, then no. If it is 02-05 RS then also no, as your hood does not have a scoop hole at all.

why would you want that ridiculous thing anyway. its HUGE. i guess you could use it as a bird catcher or something.

ps-they make sti v6 larger scoops for the old rs hoods.

yeah i dont know about that.. i mean unless you have a swap or something.. theres really no point in having the scoop.. i mean unless your going for just looks..

 

Or unless your slapped a TMIC with an aftermarket turbo kit, cut out the hole, bought forged pistons w/ 8.5:1CR, bought metal gaskets for everything, bought new tranny gears, etc... I guess some of those things aren't a NECESSITY... but, why wouldn't you want to do it all? As said by many a person "If you're going to do it... DO IT BIG!" Wasn't that a song on the old "Doug" cartoon? Anyway... Get the V. 6 scoop... It could help let more fresh air to the engine... even if you don't have the turbo and intercooler YET.
