My speedometer will stay on for a random amount of time then go off randomly n stay off for x amount of time. When the speedometer goes out the odometer stops also. The VSS obviously still works if my speedometer will come on and stay on. I jus have no idea why it would cut off and not work for x amount of time. I am not sure if this has occurred to other subarus my year. Please let me knw. 1999 Subaru legacy sus 30th anniversary.
