Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Someone PLEASE help me! I have the strangest problem in my 93 subaru.

unless you're good with electronics, my guess is that you're going to have to take it to the dealer. electronic relays typcically aren't terribly expensive, but can be a bit of a pain to diagnose problems with.

The air conditioning compressor could be going bad. It could be loading down the engine when it engages.

Hope it not.

I have this same problem but my car only does it every once in a while. It is like someone switched a toggle button from power to economy while I am driving. It just gives a quick jerk and hesistation like you don't have lost 10HP or so. Mine wasn't every 15 seconds though. So after $86 bucks they said basically what you already knew??!?! Dealers suck like that. Well, if you ever figure it out, please let me know.
Thanks,
Cody
