I would like to hook my sister up with some cool parts for her 04 Impreza 2.5RS, being that it is her Birthday and all this week.
I am torn between some power mods and something like a short thow shifter. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what mod(s) I should get her. I think she would like any extra HP she could get, being that she always asks if she can drive my WRX, but I can't help but think she would really appreciate something like the short throw....
Thanks :wiggle:

Imho
Although obviously you don't get any more hp from installing a ss, I think the overall change in driving will be more noticable than adding maybe 10 or so hp. Personally, I think any car feels more like a "sports car" when the shift throw is decreased.... in any case, very cool big brother for buying the sister car mods. :-)

The CAI is intriguing. hmmmm....
I can say from experience that the front and rear bushings help quite a bit with lessening shifter slop for the wrx. I recommend them and they are only a bit more money. :-) I like kartboy best for bushings.

Shifter Kartboy $100
2.25" Catback Exhaust
stromung catback $$$400+
the cheaper old wrx swap catback $100-150
no cai (it doesnt really do much and am not getting into why it doesnt..read sticky:P)
just take out the snorkus and put in a stock K&N filter or Green Filter $60
I felt the car a lot better after I did the exhaust mod, great to free up some ponies...
hope this helps

I don't like it" Everyone that gets a Cobb or an Injen love them. Even I noticed gains from my Cobb cai.
