Shop manual

Does anyone know where I can buy THE shop manual for my 99' Forester? I was going to buy it from SubaruParts.com but they don't seem to exist anymore. A few months ago they had it for around $200 vs. the dealer that have it for $290
Someone else has to have it for cheaper online, I just can't find anyone who does. Does anyone know who else might have it? How about a complete manual on CD-R? I bought one off of ebay a while back and doesn't give enough specifics as far a engine torque spec.'s etc.
Thanks.

You can download it here but it takes a while because there are do many sections. But it's only 20 bucks for 72 hrs of access

So this online thing, can you download all the PDF's you can for 72 hours for only 20 bucks? I don't know if that makes sense, but if that is true then I will do it once the solar flare has passed
. But seriously, there is no individual price on the set of PDF's? If not, is there some kind of script I can run to automatically download as much as I can. Thanks.

People have tried to make scripts and stuff but I don't know anyone has gotten it to work. The tricky part is you have to make subdirectories to download the files then those files you download are not named anything that is understandable. Just some sort of number code. Takes about an hour or so to get everything. But you can get TSB's and all sorts of other goodies too. Hard to beat the price

Dealers only sell hardcopies though, and you don't want to pay for those unless you really need it in your hands out in the shop/driveway/whatever.

But I agree, having real manuals around is nice, it's just hard to pass up saving $300.
