Save Gas?
Save Gas?
I noticed on my new 2002 2.5rs that I am blowing through gas pretty quick.
I have premium fuel in it and I have just recently used a engine cleaner on it so I dont think it is related to that.
What are some good methods to gain mpg besides driving like a old person

First I'd go with Regular fuel, the biggest reason for higher octane is how it effects the flash point on the fuel, so unless you are adjusting the compression ratio's (like boosting) save your cash. I've got an the 06 and 05 owners manual recommends 89 oct, other then that I'm in te same boat you are.
Well I understand that, but in the end it only cost me like $1-2 more at the tank, so I dont really mind.
I was talking to cobb and they said cams, intake, ecu, plugs, and exhaust will do wonders.
